The Brahmagiri is a serene grassland located in Begur range of North Wayanad Division. To reach Brahmagiri one has to travel 34 kms from Mananthavady via Thirunelli. The roads are black topped roads till Thirunelli and from Thirunelli Forest Inspection Bungalow the road to Brahmagiri is an old coupe road. The Ecotourism project implemented in Bramagiri envisages stay in tents at Brahmagiri and a trek of 6 km from Brahmagiri to interior areas. The tents which are erected on plywood fixed steel platform is with bio toilets A 4 km trek from this place leads to Pakshipathalam
