My wife and I went for the windy walk trek at Vagamon in 2019. It was a very nice trek with Prince ( 91 92070 46552), our guide from the dept. Prince was very informative, and gave us quite a lot of information about the trees, the lay of the land and the hills. The trek in itself was fantastic, and as the name suggests it was quite windy with the cool winds keeping you energized right through. There is even a mini forest through which you walk through...It was approximately a 3-4 hour walk, and we rounded it off with tea from a tea shop in the nearby town. We happened to know about this walk through sheer chance, as we saw a hoarding while driving up to Vagamon. The forest dept could do well to market this walk a little more by letting all the local hotels know about this. Not to be missed in Vagamon, if you have 4-5 hours to spare and love walking and nature
