Kerala Forest Department is one of the oldest administrative and law enforcement organs of the State with its headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram. The Department is engaged in the sustainable management of the biodiversity, conservation and protection of flora and fauna in their natural habitats through the involvement and participation of tribal and forest-dependent communities.
