Chokramdi Peak is one of the highest peaks in Munnar that attracts many visitors. It is about 7,200 feet and offers spectacular views of tea plantations, Anamdi Peak and Idukki Dam. Although a bit isolated from the rest of the Munnar range, it offers a spectacular sunrise view which is a must-see while visiting Munnar. Combined with the evergreen Shora forest, it is even more beautiful. The park is home to several rare flora and fauna such as Nilgiri Thar, Gaur and Asian Elephant. Trekkers will find this place interesting in several aspects.
