Annually trekkers across the globe come to the natural trails at Thusharagiri. This trekking includes waterfalls, luscious greenery, many species, streams and log bridges. From the Adivaram village lying at the foothill of the western ghats, you can see the waterfalls. You can come here through the NH 212 (Kozhikode-ooty highway). Through the trail, after the narrow steep path, you can hear the sound of crashing water.At the very top, you can see the floral beauty. 100 m above the base we run into the first falls, Erattumukku. Natural rock formations and pools are can be seen here aplenty. Another 300 m up and you view Mazhavil Chattam (Rainbow Falls) and further, 900 m above the base lies the mystical Thonnikayal. The descent begins at nearby Avinjithode, after a journey one can never forget.
