The two main attractions of Meenwallam are the waterfall and the watchtower. A hidden gem of the Palakkad district, Meenvallam waterfalls flow into the Thuppanadu River, which originates from the Kalladikodan hills. The Thuppanadu River eventually joins the Thoothapuzha River, which in turn flows into the Bharathapuzha River. It is a 2 km walk to pass all the waterfalls. Hiking to the watch tower is a great experience and a pleasure for hikers. The top of the tower offers a panoramic view of the Western Ghats.
